Green SM, the ride-hailing arm of Vietnamese electric-vehicle maker VinFast, has signed a five-year lease for 1,050 basement parking bays plus five charging stations at the Golden Grande commercial hub in Greater Noida. The terms are modest in absolute size – about Rs 23.38 lakh a month, a Rs 1.16 crore security deposit and a total lease value of around Rs 15.5 crore.
The number itself is small, and this comes from a single report without independent corroboration so far, so it is worth treating the details as indicative. What makes it interesting is less the value than the signal: a foreign EV and mobility brand choosing Greater Noida for a real, multi-year operational footprint.
For the market, this is a minor but genuine data point in a bigger story – global names, especially in autos and EVs, continuing to pick the Greater Noida and Yamuna belt for operations. On its own it does not move property prices, but as part of a steady drumbeat of commercial interest it supports the area’s longer-term case. One to note, not to overweight.
