Rs 4,000 crore, 8-lane elevated corridor between Noida and Greater Noida gets its route finalised

The alignment for a large new elevated corridor between Noida and Greater Noida is now finalised. The roughly 50 km, 8-lane road – estimated at about Rs 4,000 crore – will start at Sector 94 near Kalindi Kunj, run parallel to Yamuna Pushta Road, cross the Hindon river and reach Greater Noida near Sector Chi-V, passing through Gharbhara, Mursadpur and Yamuna Authority sectors 27, 26, 24 and 24A before connecting to the Faridabad-Jewar Greenfield Expressway. A 2 km spur near Jagannathpur will link to the Majhawali Bridge. About 27 km of the 51 km falls under Noida Authority jurisdiction (Sector 94 to Sector 150), and the Authority has already submitted revenue maps of 26 villages for land assessment. NHAI is preparing the DPR, and a second phase – Sector 94 to Delhi’s Akshardham – has been proposed with its own DPR to follow.

A dedicated, high-capacity link between the two cities that also plugs into the Faridabad-Jewar Greenfield Expressway is exactly the kind of connectivity that widens a market’s catchment – making more sectors practical to live in and commute from.

For buyers, this is a genuine long-term appreciation signal for the whole Noida-to-Greater Noida belt, but it is important to be honest about the stage: the route is finalised and land assessment has started, yet the DPR is still being prepared and construction has not begun. Treat it as a strong reason to watch the corridor – especially the sectors along the alignment – rather than a completed road to price in today. The milestones to track next are the DPR, land acquisition and a construction start.
