YEIDA has reportedly awarded a Rs 2.95 crore contract to Faridabad-based Arshiya Consulting Engineers to prepare an integrated drainage, sewerage and water-supply plan for Phase 1 of Yamuna City – covering 41 residential and industrial sectors – within three months.
An earlier December 2025 report had referenced YEIDA appointing a consultant for the same scope without naming the firm, so this may be a later contract-award step in the same process rather than an entirely new one.
It is a behind-the-scenes planning step rather than a headline launch, but a meaningful one: designing water, sewerage and drainage up front is exactly the civic groundwork that decides whether new sectors are actually liveable when they come up. For long-term buyers in the Yamuna City belt, this kind of utility planning is a quiet positive to note.
