The Uttar Pradesh cabinet has approved a new access-controlled corridor connecting the Yamuna Expressway (near Film City, YEIDA Sector 21, at the 24.8km mark) to the Ganga Expressway near Syana in Bulandshahr – a direct link from Jewar Airport into eastern and central UP. The 74km route passes through 56 villages (8 in Noida, 48 in Bulandshahr), with roughly 20km running straight through the New Noida (DNGIR) region.
Specs: six lanes initially (expandable to eight), seven underpasses, 11 minor and three major bridges, one flyover and four rail overbridges. Land acquisition is already 90% complete in the Yamuna Authority section, with about 23 hectares still pending in Mehdipur and Bhaipur villages. Completion is targeted within three years.
For investors, two things stand out. First, the airport keeps pulling new, government-approved infrastructure toward it – a durable appreciation driver for the wider Jewar belt. Second, the 20km stretch through New Noida (DNGIR) is a concrete reason to put that long-dormant belt back on the watchlist, now that a Cabinet-approved trigger – not just a plan – runs through it.
