Noida-based developer Gulshan Group and Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) announced a Rs 1,000 crore project on the Noida Expressway in Sector 129: a 57-floor tower combining a 150-key Taj hotel with 74 branded, serviced residences of roughly 7,500 sq ft each, plus an 8,000 sq ft ballroom and restaurants, with completion targeted within five years. IHCL’s managing director called Noida ‘one white spot that was missing’ from the brand’s map.
A national luxury hospitality brand choosing Noida is a real vote of confidence in the city’s premium positioning – the same category of brand that spent the year buying land here.
For buyers, a Taj address tends to lift the profile and pricing of its immediate micro-market over time. The honest caveat is the five-year build and the ultra-premium nature of the branded residences, so judge it as a long-term prestige signal for Sector 129 rather than a broad market mover.
