The Pune Municipal Corporation outlined a plan to complete 12 priority ‘missing link’ roads within a year, part of a wider effort covering 459 km of gaps across 678 locations. Named stretches include a Baner-Pashan link road, an Aundh-Balewadi connector via Jupiter Hospital, and a Navale Bridge-Wakad service road, funded partly through a transferable-development-rights mechanism.
Missing-link roads are exactly the everyday-connectivity fixes that make a locality easier to live in, and several of these sit in Pune’s most active residential corridors.
For buyers and owners in Baner, Pashan, Aundh, Balewadi and around Wakad, completed link roads would be a real commute upgrade. As always, the benefit lands on delivery, so track construction rather than pricing it in immediately.
