With roughly 50,000 residents of the Sector 150/152 (Sports City) belt currently funnelled through a single narrow underpass, the Noida Authority is now actively studying a figure-8 cloverleaf interchange linking Sectors 148-153 to connect the Noida Expressway and Yamuna Expressway service roads. The design needs IIT sign-off before a DPR and tender can follow, with construction estimated at roughly six months after a tender is awarded.
A parallel report has the Authority separately directing its consultant to submit three site options for a flyover connecting Sector 150 to the expressway service road, with a DPR to follow site selection – likely two press treatments of the same evolving initiative rather than two distinct projects.
For the Sports City / Sector 150-152 micro-market, this is a “watch this space” story rather than a done deal: it is still pre-DPR. But a serious fix for a chronic bottleneck affecting tens of thousands of residents is exactly the kind of connectivity upgrade that, once real, supports property values along the corridor.
