Greater Noida hikes circle rates 3.58% and floats a Ganga Expressway link

Greater Noida Authority approved a 3.58% circle-rate hike, which directly raises the stamp-duty and registration cost of buying property across the city, while at the same time floating plans for a new link road to the Ganga Expressway – an early precursor to the much larger Rs 8,585 crore Jewar-Ganga Expressway approved months later.

Circle rates are one of the few pieces of news that hit a buyer’s wallet immediately: a higher rate means a higher minimum registry value and higher duty on the same home.
