AM Green has signed an agreement with Invest UP to build a 1-gigawatt AI and high-performance computing hub in Greater Noida, centred on around 500,000 high-performance computing chipsets. The plan calls for the facility to run entirely on carbon-free power – wind, solar and pumped storage – with Phase 1 targeted for 2028 and full build-out by 2030. UP’s data-centre policy and the corridor’s low-latency connectivity were cited as deciding factors, with thousands of high-skill jobs expected once construction is underway.
A commitment of this scale is less a single project than a statement about where large-scale digital infrastructure is choosing to land, and Greater Noida winning it puts the belt on a different map than pure residential demand.
For long-term buyers, an anchor of this size is a genuine reason to watch Greater Noida’s data-centre and industrial corridors – big employment bases build steady housing demand over years. The honest note is timing: this is an MoU with a 2028-2030 build horizon, so treat it as direction, not a next-quarter price trigger.
