₹21,000-crore data-centre wave lands in Greater Noida — Adani, Microsoft and Jio invest

Several large players are building data-centre capacity in and around Greater Noida. Reports put Adani Group at roughly ₹7,500 crore across two projects, Microsoft at around ₹1,800 crore in Sector 145, and Reliance Jio/Yotta at a broader ₹39,000-crore commitment across Uttar Pradesh — a combined new-economy investment wave running into tens of thousands of crores.

The projects are expected to create thousands of direct and indirect jobs across construction, IT, security and operations as they come online, with several already in or entering construction.

For property, the significance is the jobs-before-housing pattern: large employers anchoring in an area tend to pull sustained residential and rental demand toward the surrounding sectors. It’s the same thesis behind the region’s industrial-corridor and expressway momentum — big employers betting on Greater Noida is a durable signal for long-term buyers.
