Noida Authority has appointed IIT Roorkee to prepare the feasibility report and DPR with about ₹3.5 crore funded for the study for a 6km, six-lane elevated road from the Rajnigandha Underpass to Sector 60 (near Upalex), estimated at ₹700 crore.
The road aims to cut a current 30-minute, five-signal crawl down to a roughly 10-minute non-stop drive, benefiting residents of the DND corridor, Sector 57, Sector 60, Greater Noida West and surrounding industrial areas. CEO Krishna Karunesh called it ‘a significant step in strengthening the city’s transportation system.’
Together with the Chilla Sector 94 elevated road, it means Noida has commissioned studies for two new elevated corridors in quick succession a clear signal that the city’s traffic pain points are finally drawing real investment, and a supportive backdrop for property values along both routes.
