The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority has opened a fresh scheme of 19 plots near Jewar Airport, split into two categories. The first is 10 senior-secondary-school plots spread across Sectors 17, 18, 20 and 22E, ranging from about 8,000 to 14,100 square metres, with reserve prices between roughly Rs 14.22 crore and Rs 23.41 crore per plot. The second is 9 corporate office plots in Sector 22E of 1,000 square metres each, with reserve prices between about Rs 5.44 crore and Rs 5.98 crore. Applications are open from September 16 to October 16, 2026 (5 p.m. deadline), with the school plots going to auction on November 20 and the corporate plots on November 23.
Institutional and office plots are the quieter half of a new city taking shape – schools, workplaces and services are what turn an airport-side land bank into somewhere people actually want to live near.
For buyers watching the Yamuna belt, this is a social-infrastructure signal rather than a residential launch: schools and offices getting allotted around Jewar is exactly the kind of groundwork that supports housing demand over the medium term. The honest note is timing – these are reserve prices at the application stage, and the plots still have to be auctioned, allotted and built out before the benefit reaches nearby homes.
